1980's Syrian Gazelle for SOCWAD

Finished my 1/50 scale diecast Gazelle from Verem for my 28mm 1980's Syrians. Been looking to add more to my force for Seek Out, Close With, And Destroy games and thought this would be a fun addition. I still need to stat it out, but hope to get it on the table soon.

More to come.

  2. Great paint job, it looks good. I need to get one of those to convert over to a G-car for our groups planned Rodesian games.

  3. Thanks guys, yep I repainted it. The original model was around $20 and was painted for French service. I took it apart to paint it which was pretty easy.

  4. Nice work Doc. Are the Syrians from Newline Miniatures?

Have stacks of books for the 1982 conflict which was when I was thinking of getting into the period.

  5. @ Tank Girl, yep those are the Mongrel Miniatures Syrians carried by Newline Design. I have had exceptional service from them. I have more stuff in the works for this period, next piece up is something for my USMC force.
