PRICE OF EMPIRES! Gaming the Spanish American War using Iron Ivan Games Price of Glory

I had a chance to whip up some stats for gaming the Spanish American War.  I have a bunch of the Old Glory 25mm figures for this project, pics to come, and have made some adaptions to the Price of Glory rules to field them:

Projects for 2014

So looking ahead into the next year and back at the last here is my list of Projects:

Number one: Finish the Hollow Earth book, it's very close to being done.

Number two: Finish the Supplement for Victus.

Number Three: Point Blank for the Spanish Civil War. I got some material together for this along with some ideas on scenarios, more to come!

4. Finish my 28mm SCW Moors and cavalry. I got about half done last year, other half to go!

5. Finish my 25mm Volunteer US Cav for the Spanish American war. I'm almost done with the first 15 or so. Great figures with lots of detail.

6. Xwing, I want to get two full squadrons together along with a nice mat and some painting done to the units.

7. 54mm Ancients, a few left to finish for the 3rd Servile War scenarios.

8. Winter War Russian Trucks, I got a bunch of the Force of Arms trucks to finish.

9. Hollow Earth Sumerians, about 20 more to paint.

10. 28mm 1980s Syrians to paint and finish.

We'll see how this all pans out!

I was invited once again to game at my good friend Mongo's house and thought what better way to celebrate the new year than with a game of murder and body counts!

Enter, Psycho Slasher from Iron Ivan Games!  In Psycho Slasher you get to play the role of a Writer controlling a Slasher attacking Pawns for points.  The Slasher with the most kills wins the game.

Oh little town of Deathlaham, Pennsylvania.  Brought to you by Mongo.

Snowmen, brought to life by the restless spirits of the dead!
Freezey takes the first victim, sneaking up on a caroler and dealing out death with it's bare, carrot fingered hands!

Frosty finds a meat cleaver and goes a huntin!

Freezey is on a roll! Using Off Camera moves he closes in on another victim!

Dispatching the Pawn, Freezey finds a knife to use in his next attack.

Frosty still have a rough time at attacking, failed in numerous attempts!

 Success for Frosty!!

The Police begin to arrive, Officer High Tower unloads on Frosty!!

Freezey finds a Lawn Mower and chases a caroler into the woods for a big score!

Frosty, avoiding the cops and collecting weapons is now decked out like Deadpool!

Police swarm the south end of town with Detective White arriving on the scene!

A bongo playing hipster is Snared by the Allure of the local MILF.

The MILF goes down!  Like dead, down leaving the hipster to his Doom!
Freezey's Body Count, way high and we called the game.  Great stuff!  Really fun to do a holiday themed game and we were done in about an hour, hour and a half.
