3 more games of Devilry Afoot

 The gaming group decided on some more Devilry Afoot for this month’s get together.


The first game we played was an All Hallow’s Eve scenario

Our hunters had 5 turns to make it off the opposite table edge that was populated by a host of monsters!

My Hunter was quickly killed by a swarm of red caps after leaping 8 inches deep across the table. Reg’s Hunter was also soon mobbed up by red caps and a stone giant.

A werewolf also attacks Reg, wounding him as his dog fights off the giant and the other hunters are either chased off the starting table edge or begin flanking the mobs up the sides!

As the monsters pillage the dead

The next game, Reg starts the turn, now wolf bitten from the previous game, and rolls double 1s for his activation test, becoming a werewolf. I am nearly killed, and also now wolf bitten, before Reg is put down, ending his character sheet.

In this scenario we are tasked with protecting live stock against a giant thunderbird Turkey and a pack of wolves.

The turkey devours one of the sheep as we rush to defend them!

In the end, we lost this scenario as too many sheep were killed before we could dispatch the beasts.

Our last hunt was Iconoclasm in which we are tasked with destroying an unholy witches altar.

The coven and 2 ghouls protect the grounds

We did a lot better on this one, dispatching ghouls and closing on the altar.

A fight near the swamp!

Imps are summoned by the witches!

The witches switch between charming and intimidating attacks.

While one is dispatching by accurate musket fire below the hill.

A grand melee breaks out on the hill and the apothecary is lost!

But the altar was destroyed and all the denizens were dispatched for a victory!
