Museum Scenario for 1980s Pulp gaming

ARISE SERPENTOR ARISE!

Intelligence has confirmed that Cobra forces are stealing the DNA of the world’s greatest warlords, not sure what the snakes are planning doing with it, but it can’t be good.  Our latest report shows them targeting the Egyptian Pharaoh Psammetichus whose remains are display at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in California.

Turn Length:  8

GI Joe Objectives

Special Rules

Capturing HVTs:  A Character can only be captured if they are defeated in a Dire Duel.  They do not need to be reduced to 0 DARE!, but if they are, they must be carried by another model.  If they still have DARE! Left they are “In Custody” of one enemy model and must remain with them until they are passed to another or if their guard is killed they may act as normal.

Display Cases:  Cobra agents must search the Museum Cases on the table for DNA samples.  Each case requires an Easy Dare! Test to solve.  If successful a Dare! Location card, see cards at the bottom, is drawn and applied.  If the first card drawn is the DNA SAMPLED! Card, redraw and shuffle in the DNA SAMPLED! Card to be drawn later in the game.

Cobra Reserves:  When the DNA SAMPLED! card is revealed and applied, Cobra forces may activate one secretly hidden BAT that was smuggled into the museum if they are the first to find the card.  The BAT may Activate from any statue on the table, but must be within 9 inches of a Cobra Lead or Companion.  If the Joes find the card first, they may bring in and Activate an additional Companion character or 2 Supporters of their choosing within 9 inches of another Character.

Stairs are the entry and exit points, but basically throw whatever you have onto the table.  I made cases using small plastic containers that I painted one half black and glued a print out of a display case inside.  I will try to get pictures of those.
