28mm 1982 Beirut PLO and civilians

A common occurrence in the Lebanese Civil War was the factor of civilians trying to go about their daily life in the midst of the conflict.

This caused a lot of ire for the forces engaging in the cities as  the civilians were both used as shields and agitators.

Many also just went about their daily business as if there was no war around them! These models are from Patrick’s Miniatures on Etsy who also sells these buildings.

What I would really like is miniatures that are late 70’s early 80’s civilians just going about their daily their day. If you have suggestions, please add in the comments.

The PLO are from Mongrel Minis now sold by Badger Games.

They are excellent models

I like the wide range of models that 3D printing has given us, but the resin is still very fragile.

I give the 3D printed buildings a stucco coat with dry wall patch to help hide the print lines and give a better texture.

More to come,
Doc
