Treasure, Tempests, and Treachery: A Port Royal Game Review
Another skirmish is the calamity stricken town of Port Royal
We had 4 players, 2 teams vs 2 teams so shortened the table down to 4 x 4 roughly
Treasures were distributed throughout the ruined Caribbean town
The streets filled with debris
My team of surly Jamaican Pirates
My enemies, the British regulars
All of us trying to find the most treasure amongst the ruins while fighting our foes
The French forces advance on a Pirate Encounter who refuses to divest himself of his treasure chest. He is quickly dispatched by superior fire.
The Maroons advance on the French forces, but the French have made a building into a veritable blockhouse!
An earthquake strikes and shakes one of my pirates out of the bell tower-
-throwing him and the treasure to the church yard.
Desperate fire in the streets
All in all good game with the Empire regulars securing the most treasure. The Random events tables kept the game interesting and the rules are very easy to pick up.
More to come,
Doc.
