30mm Thundercats
Adding another faction to my Masters of Power miniatures, Thundercats.
Like Masters of the Universe, Thundercats combined blasters, magic and science in their world setting. Adventures even took place on different planets.
4 primary Thundercats, camera left to right Liono the leader, Panthro, Tygra, and Cheetara
Panthro was a weapons specialist who also maintained and developed vehicles and tech. Liono was the leader who carried the Sword of Omens which granted him mystical powers.
The sculpting has the models very ripped with sinew
Tygra was an acrobatic tactician
Wielding a whip that could stretch for yards
Cheetara was also an acrobat as well as being incredibly fast.

Cracking job on them all
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had to mix to get a lot of the colors, not a lot of straight from the bottle shades.
DeleteThat definitely stretches out the painting process, I find... these are excellent! They really capture the characters while also giving them a bit of grit.
DeleteYou did it again! They are gorgeous, awesome work.
ReplyDeleteawesome job man, pictures doesnt do justice on how long Tygra's whip actually is. great work!
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks, yeah it's tough getting it in the shot.
DeleteI NEED TO BUY THESE!!
ReplyDeleteSupposedly Crooked Dice is looking at releasing a set next year. The ones above are by a different sculptor and are OOP.
DeleteCrooked Dice , huh? I'll have to remember that for when my he-man figures are finished...
DeleteCrooked Dice currently has the Plundarrian Mutants and the withered Mummra available.

ReplyDeleteDo you know any place that sells either 28 mm or 30 mm Thundercats figures? Croocked Dice only have the Evil mutants
ReplyDeleteHello! My understanding is that Crooked Dice was also going to release the 4 main Thundercats this May.
