Bot Wars, First Game of the New Year
I had a chance to finally play a game of Bot Wars. My daughter is generally not into Table Top Gaming, but loves robots that change andso was all in giving this one a go.

The game plays very easy with 3 stages and players use energy cubes to pay for Activations of the miniatures. We had the rules down by the second turn.
We did a pretty simple scenario, fight over an oil tanker rail car with whoever has control of it at the end of turn 6 wins.
General Duke and Wrench on one side for 35pts.
Mega Tyrant and Communicator for 37pts.

General Duke advances
Mega Tyrant fires at long range and then advances.
Wrench moves up to support
Communicator takes heavy fire from General Duke.
General Duke advances to close into Short Range for improved fire.
Mega Tyrant moves to cover
Wrench attacks but no hits
Wrench takes damage from Mega Tyrant and Communicators fire.
Heavy fire!
Maniacal laughing
General Duke closes on Communicator
Uses his Vehicle Ram ability and takes down Communicator.
Wrench moves away from Mega Tyrants fire, is reduced to 1 Hull point.
General Duke catches the outnumbered and out powered Mega Tyrant with more fire and nearly destroys him. Mega Tyrant calls it a day and retreats.
Great game, we had a blast and went to 5 turns.
