3 more games of Devilry Afoot
We got together for a few more campaign games of the 17th Century Horror game, Devilry Afoot.
The first hunt was to clear a town of a vampire and two ghouls that were plaguing it.
Because there were only 3 of us playing, we hired 2 Followers with matchlocks to aid us. 19 Shillings each!
We deployed randomly to this edge of town and fire was dealt immediately to one of the ghouls.
Shots were taken at the Vampire but missed!
Our forces were quickly set upon and were forced to retreat from the intimidation and charms of our adversaries!
Our next hunt was to find a rumored treasure hidden by a troll.
Keeping with our North American theme, we used a great hairless bear from Crucible Crush games as the troll.
Distance is kept as matchlocks fire volleys at the beast.
Eventually falling the beast!
As my guy, Preacher Cotton, finds the hidden treasure.
Ending in a win for us
Getting both the treasure and bounty!
Our last mission was to find the treasure that several brigands had taken from the crown.
Again using Iroquois as outlaws, a rough game, I almost died from the French matchlock! We did win and I managed to club two braves to death in hand to hand.
More to come,
Doc
