First game of Blackstone Fortress by Gamesworkshop

 A friend ran a Blackstone Fortress game for us to try out.

Each player gets to have one Character or you can solo play and have all 4.

My character for the game was an Imperial Robot that while slow, was a tank in the game with lots of firepower.

The game comes with hex tiles that represent the interior of the Blackstone Fortress that is being explored.

Each Character arrives by a ship to the Precipice where the explorers enter into the fortress.

Exploration cards are chosen that determine layout of the game board.

Antagonists are randomly generated and have a built in AI on their cards for attacking the explorers.

Each explorer has advantages and disadvantages that come into play. My robot was incredibly slow, and clumsy but extremely tough and a weapon platform.

We did well but did suffer casualties in a final ambush.

At the end you can spend points and advance with new gear from trading stations.
