La Isla De La Muerta, 1898 Horror Game

The Halloween game this year was a survival horror game set in 1898 on a small island off the coast of Cuba.

The table, the journalists in teams of three begin at the deserted docks…

While Remington takes to the brush, literally!

Spanish soldiers begin filtering out into the streets but something about them is off…

Patrols or hordes rather begin to form

As they move clumsily through the terrain

Scouring for interlopers 

Searching buildings with bayonets drawn

And even taking over the docks

Suddenly when a MiGo appears, the Spanish soldiers are able to fire their rifles instead of just lurching coward with bayonets

Another MiGo appears

Davis’s team repels an assault!

Remington tries to out maneuver the Spaniards

As more patrols form up

Directed by another MiGo

Crane and Davis teams move past guards and discover a star pool. One soldier goes mad and walks into the pool, disappearing forever!

Hearst repels an assault!

More Spaniards move forward

While Remington heads for the work shed.

The shed is reached! An arcane fossil is found and also a crate with signal flares!

The shed is barricaded as the attackers assault!

Another group moves on the church and the Colt Machine Gun that has set up in the bell tower.

An unholy altar is found and more signal flares for reinforcements 

The streets are filled with Spaniards

The MiGo directs the Spanish husks to fire on the Colt Machine gun team.

Everyone to the boats! They are coming!

The team holds off the horde, buying Remington time

Low on ammo, every last bullet is used!

In the end, Remingtons team won the most victory points but all teams made it back with a story.
