1982 Syrian vs USMC what if?

 We recently played a game of Iron Ivan’s Seek Out Close With and Destroy set in the Lebanonese Civl War in a what if scenario of Syrians engaging the USMC.

The table, a road in southern Lebanon needed for humanitarian aid.

Syrian forces, a T62, infantry, a Toyota and a BTR60

Deployments begin and the USMC M60A3 takes a hull down position on the berm.

The M60A3 is a Corgi diecast piece that I converted.

Marine ATGM team fires on the T62 but fails to take it out. A Syrian PK HMG wounds them in return.

Forces advance and fire gets heavy on the road.

The modern sights on the M60A3 help it deliver a pounding to the Syrians.

At the end of 6 turns the marines won, having pinned all the Syrians near the objective.
