Hirst Arts 40k terrain

A good friend of mine passed a series of Hirst arts casts to me for the local gaming group to use.

The casts are meant to simulate Scifi flooring and walls

Having only a set number of pieces, I decided to use them more as scatter terrain.

The pieces are cast in dental plaster and are both heavy and resilient 

I painted, dry brushed and then dipped the pieces for a 40k grim dark theme.

Here they are pictured with my Thousand Sons forces for scale.

The blocks allow a variety of configurations.
