GIJoe 28mm DEF Team

GIJoe created a number of sub teams to their order of battle and one of these in the 90s was the Drug Elimination Force or DEF.

Led by Bulletproof, this team was tasked with fighting the war on drugs, mainly the Headhunters, a criminal organization that pushed the deadly and addictive drug known as Spark.

This shipment of Spark from the Headman will be cut with the hallucinogenic to allow me to control the victims minds!

Just don’t forget, the money goes to us Crystal Ball

Of course, and you will deliver the remade Spark to Headman for street level distribution.

Not today scumbags!

Junkyard led us right to you!

3 vs 3?

Those odds are not in our favor, run!

Notify Bulletproof that we have captured one of Headman’s shipments.

More to come,
Doc

  1. I feel like Joes doing domestic law enforcement is somehow unconstitutional, but I'm no lawyer or anything, shrug. Great post, the dog's lovely and small details like the pallet of drugs really add a lot :)

    1. Ha! I mean, you probably aren't wrong, I'm no lawyer either. The drugs and cash are great little pieces from Footsore North America and their modern Cartel ranges. I also picked up a Jesus Malverde that they sell also for further DEF games coming up.

  2. Such a cool setup! There needs to be an explosion in the Spark factory in your next game. Causing random stuff to happen to all the players as they trip off their faces!

    1. Thanks bud! Thats a great idea for a scenario, random drug effects on troops.

  3. I feel like there was at least one episode where COBRA and GIJoe teamed up because of the horrors of the drug trade. Maybe one of the young cobra inductees was struggling with a drug problem and somehow had a family relation to a Joe mook?

    1. There was a cartoon episode where this took place and Lt Falcon was a junkie.

  5. I don't know the characters, but these pictures are a pleasure to look at, there are so many details on the models and scenery.

  6. In my mind, G.I. Joe Bulletproof and C.O.P.S. Bulletproof were one in the same. The Joe team is just wher he got started before he landed the Empire City gig. Very well done as ever!

    1. Thanks! Yeah and supposedly the one guy from COPS was the son of Beach head if I'm not mistaken.
